May sees the return of In The Night Garden Live, a stage journey into the magical world of the popular CBeebies TV programme, which is coming to five venues across the UK this summer.
It is a wonderful musical theatre experience set in a venue that is especially designed to cater for familes with small children.
The inflatable showdome is entirely protected from the elements with plenty of loos, baby-changing facilities and buggy parking.
In the show itself, Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka are all brought to life before your eyes using full size costumes, magical puppets, enchanting music and projections.
There are two different show to choose from and each one lasts just under an hour.
In the Ninky Nonk Show, Igglepiggle loses his blanket and all his friends help him find it, while in the Pinky Ponk show, Makka Pakka washes everyone’s faces, until his sponge gets stuck in Upsy Daisy’s megaphone!
After each show, and for an extra charge, children can meet their favourite characters and have their photo taken with them, providing some wonderful pictorial memories.
Last year, In The Night Garden Live was the first live theatre show that we took our then 16-month-old to and she loved every minute and talked about it for weeks afterwards.
This year we are definitely going again!
