Spot’s Birthday Party – preview

It’s Spot’s birthday – and you’re invited!

Spot Birthday InviteAll those who have regularly read any of Eric Hill’s Spot books to their little ones will be delighted to know that Spot’s Birthday Party has been adapted for the stage by David Wood and heads out on a 35 venue tour from February 2013.

All the puppy’s friends will be at the party in this “musical play”, including Steve the Monkey, Helen the Hippo and Tom the Crocodile plus the puppy’s mum and dad, Sally and Sam.

Special guest Marco the Rabbit Magician will be there too, ensuring there is never a dull moment.

David Wood, who also directs, has a wealth of experience in taking popular book characters and putting them on the stage. His previous successes include The Gingerbread Man, The BFG, The Tiger Who Came To Tea, Meg and Mog Show.

It’s described as “musical fun for everyone” and full of songs, games and stories for ages 2+.
